Across its generations the CTS used different automatics depending on the year, engine and drivetrain, and AWD cars use a different case than RWD cars. The VIN and the transmission code on your build sheet tell us the exact unit, which we confirm in writing before you pay.
No. AWD models use a transmission set up to drive a transfer case, so a RWD unit will not bolt in. Send your VIN and we match the correct drivetrain.
Flush or replace the cooler lines, fill with the correct GM-specified ATF to the proper level, check the mounts and driveshaft, and make sure the battery and connectors are in good shape. Some units may need a relearn with a scan tool after installation.
