No. AWD units have a transfer section on the output side that FWD units do not, so they are not interchangeable. Your VIN tells us which one your RX 350 has, and we confirm the unit in writing before you pay.
Not always. Lexus moved from a 5-speed to a 6-speed and later an 8-speed automatic across RX generations, and wiring and computer calibration differ by year. Matching by VIN avoids getting a unit that looks right but will not work with your vehicle.
Flush or replace the transmission cooler lines, fill with the correct Toyota/Lexus WS-type fluid to the proper level, and check the engine and transmission mounts. On AWD models, also check the rear driveline and transfer fluid.
