Used OEM engines for the Nissan Frontier pickup. The 1998–2004 Frontier used a 2.4L four-cylinder (KA24DE) or a 3.3L V6 (VG33E), with a supercharged 3.3L (VG33ER) on some 2001–2004 trucks. The 2005–2019 Frontier used a 2.5L four-cylinder (QR25DE) or a 4.0L V6 (VQ40DE), and the 2020 and newer Frontier uses a 3.8L V6 (VQ38DD). 2WD or 4x4 and emissions equipment also affect fit, so we match the engine to your VIN, confirm the mileage in writing before you pay, and ship it free by liftgate freight in 7–14 business days with a 3-year parts warranty.

They are not a direct swap. The supercharged VG33ER uses different parts and programming, so we quote the version your VIN calls for.
