Used Nissan Titan 5.6 V8 Engine
Used OEM 5.6L V8 engines for the Nissan Titan pickup. The first-generation Titan (2004β2015) uses the port-injected VK56DE, and the second-generation Titan (2017β2024) and gas Titan XD use the direct-injection VK56VD, which is a different engine and not a drop-in swap. We match the engine to your VIN, confirm the mileage in writing before you pay, and ship it free by liftgate freight with a 3-year parts warranty.

Frequently asked questions
No. The 2004β2015 VK56DE and the later direct-injection VK56VD differ in fuel system, electronics and engine management, so they are not interchangeable. Send us your VIN and we will match the correct 5.6L for your truck.
The long block is the same family, but oil pans, mounts and some accessories can differ between 2WD and 4WD trucks. Tell us your drivetrain and VIN so the engine arrives ready to fit, and have your shop transfer your original sensors and accessories where needed.
Replace the oil and filter, check the coolant, inspect the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets and bolts, and replace any worn hoses and belts. Fixing the cause of the original failure (cooling problems or low oil) protects the replacement engine.
Yes. Every used engine comes with our 3-year parts warranty on major internal components when installed by an ASE certified mechanic. Full terms are on our Terms & Warranty page and on your written quote.
